Christmas was such an absolute delight this year. Of course it's always a wonderful time of year...but this year was a little different. Perhaps it's because Ava really understood more about what was going on and she just exuded so much joy and delight! Oh to see things through the eyes of a child! We had the Elders and Sisters over for Christmas Eve. It was so nice to be able to enjoy their company for a while! Then we gathered in the family room to watch the Christmas special by the Tabernacle Choir. It was a beautiful program! Finally, Christmas day was magical! Ava had such a good time! Hope you all had a delightful Christmas season and are enjoying a very happy and bright New Year!

Ham, potatoes, corn, green bean casserole,
homemade (well almost) rolls...Yum! Yum!

Dave's parents sent Ava a doll set...twins! Oh how she loved that!
Hopefully she'll get in lots of practice and be ready just in time for the real thing!

Love the pony. I'm sure Sheeba wondered what was taking all of Ava's attention away form her. We are so excited for you to come out to visit. It will be great to spend time with all of you.
I was waiting and waiting for a Christmas post! Christmas is so magical when you have kids...Hallie doesn't understand anything and it was still 100 times better than previous years, It will be so fun when she gets it! Ava is growing up so fast!!!
